In this Lead Environment Artist role, I managed a larger team and directed multiple areas of environment art. My main focus was keeping everyone aligned with the game's vision and pushing for a high quality standard. To help keep things moving smoothly, I worked to reduce the iteration loop between the team and art direction. Whenever the directors were tied up, I was there to help guide the artists on the right path so we could always maintain our momentum. I also took care of timeframes, resource estimates, and documentation.

Mentorship was a big part of the day-to-day. I worked with artists across all skill levels, running co-dev sessions and smaller workshops for our junior team members. I held regular one-on-ones and performance reviews to help people navigate their career paths, making sure their development fit both the company's needs and their own personal goals.

Beyond the internal team, I also managed some of our external partners and outsourcing deliveries.
